24.01.2015 OPENING – TESTACCIO SQUARE

On Saturday, January 24th 2015, the Mayor of Rome, Ignazio Marino, celebrated the opening of the new ‘Piazza Testaccio’ (Testaccio Square) with an event that has seen the participation of a great number of the borough’s residents.

The renovation of the square, started with a Urban Laboratory coordinated by AKA in 2013,

includes  the return of the historical fountain that is the symbol of Testaccio Borough, to its original location in the square.
